A film is not only made by the actors or its director. Essential for creating a cinematic masterpiece is the work of the director of photography. He makes the bridge between what is the vision of the director and how this can be accomplished by using a camera . In Belgium, we are honored to have one of the world’s finest cinematographers , namely Walter Vanden Ende . As thanks for his wonderful career the Film Festival Ostend organizes on Sunday, September 11 a tribute to Walter Vanden Ende.

The day consists of a talk show starting at 15 hours . This is followed by the screening of Felice Felice in Kinepolis at 17 hours.
