He attended the RITS and first started as a cameraman for different Belgian and European TV stations like TV-facility house Pitoors, VRT, VTM. In 1990 he become DP for TV comedy series with numerous famous Belgian directors. He also design the lighting of 400 fashion shows and events in Europe. In 1996, he founded LITES lighting rental company. His camera rental house was created in 2008. But since 2014 Wim Michiels is also known for his specialisation as underwater cinematographer. Passionated by the matter, he co-develop underwater camera systems and LED lighting. He did the underwater cinematography of a lot of feature films, clips, TV series and commercials such as <em>Full contact<\/em> by David Verbeek, the BBC TV series <em>The Missing<\/em> by Tom Shankland, <em>High Rise<\/em> by Ben Wheatley, <em>Galloping Mind<\/em> by Wim Vandekeybus, <em>The Ardennes<\/em> by Robin Pront, <em>Mega Mindy VS Rox<\/em> by Matthias Temmermans, <em>Au del\u00e0 des Murs<\/em> by Herv\u00e9 Hadmar, <em>The Lake<\/em> by Steven Quale, <em>Cargo<\/em> by Gilles Coulier, or <em>I Kill Giants<\/em> by Anders Walter&#8230;<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-7896\" src=\"http:\/\/www.sbcine.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/\/2017\/04\/Capture-d\u2019\u00e9cran-2017-04-29-\u00e0-08.36.46.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"149\" height=\"229\" \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"JUSTIFY\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Wim Vanswijgenhoven was born in 1984 in Sint-truiden. He graduated from the RITS. He then signed the cinematography of a lot of shorts films like <em>Daijobu<\/em> (2010), <em>Dead Passion<\/em> (2012), <em>The Heeler<\/em> (2013), <em>De weg van alle vlees<\/em> (2013), <em>Umpire<\/em> (2015), <em>Once<\/em> (2015), <em>Aller retour<\/em> (2015), <em>The visitor<\/em> (2016) etc. He also did some documentaries : <em>Climbing Spielberg<\/em> (2009), <em>Stateless<\/em> (2012), <em>Reis naar Marokko<\/em> (2014), <em>Arabische liefde<\/em> (2014) and a few feature films like <em>Akitu<\/em> (2013), <em>Gutshot Straight<\/em> (2nd and 1st unit, 2014), <em>Wild in Blue<\/em> (2015) and <em>Sprakeloos<\/em> (2017).<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"JUSTIFY\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-7895\" src=\"http:\/\/www.sbcine.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/\/2017\/04\/Capture-d\u2019\u00e9cran-2017-04-29-\u00e0-08.37.03.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"147\" height=\"218\" \/><\/p>\n<p align=\"JUSTIFY\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Bart Van Otterdijk was born in 1974 in Bree. In 1998 he graduated from the RITS. He first started as a focus puller and was very successful with it. In parallel he worked as a DP on short films such as <em>Bedtime Stories<\/em> by Kaat Beels, <em>Onbekend<\/em> by Diependaele, <em>Eenzaam zonder Jou<\/em> by Sarah de Bisschop, <em>TV-Dinner<\/em> by Ian Swerts, <em>L\u2019Automne c\u2019est triste en \u00e9t\u00e9<\/em> by Nicolas Boucart, <em>Verbrandman<\/em> by Ian Swerts, <em>L\u2019Eclusier<\/em> by Nicolas Boucart, <em>Ampersand<\/em> by Charlotte Dewulf. He also did some features films as B-camera operator.
