Jury members Willy Kurant, Walter Lassaly and Igor Luther presented him with the award for his work on the Chantal Ackerman film &#8220;Allmayer&#8217;s Folly &#8220;, adapted from the novel by Joseph Conrad.\u00a0Somewhere in South-East Asia, in a little lost village on a wide and turbulent river, a European man clings to his pipe dreams out of love for his daughter.
