On 13th februari \u00a0the SBC will be holding a screening of ” 22nd of may”, a film by Koen Mortier and shot by Glynn Speeckaert. After the screening there will be a possibility for a Q & A with the director and members of the crew. Registration for this event can be made via the form below.<\/span><\/p>\n

About the film: We follow Sam, a security agent in a shopping mall. On a normal day, a bomb explodes. Sam tries to save the victims, until something terrible happens. He runs off till he falls down from exhaustion. A woman\u2019s voice makes him raise his head. She\u2019s one of the victims he saved. She wants to know why the suicide bomber did it. Thereafter he runs into everyone he saved and feels that their defeat shows many parallels with his own. Even the confrontation with the wrongdoer isn\u2019t that straightforward as he thought it would be. He finds out that guilt and innocence can be pretty much alike.<\/p>\n
