Ruben Impens won this years Ensor for his photography on ” The broken circle breakdown”, his fourth collaboration with director Felix van Groeningen.

Other nominations included Richard Van Oosterhout for ” little black spiders” and Hans Bruch jr for ” het vijfde seizoen”.

The festival also introduced a new section this year: Look!. Which focuses on the visual aspect of the film, namely the work of the production design team (Art Direction, costumes, makeup, visual effects) and this, combined with the work of the DOP (Director of Photography). the LOOK! competition is unique in Europe. There is no competition that focuses on the joint work of the DOP with the Production Designer and his team.
