Rémon Fromont wins at Ostrava

Rémon Fromont recveived the special jury award at this years Ostrava Kamera Oko festival. Jury members Willy Kurant, Walter Lassaly and Igor Luther presented him with the award for his work on the Chantal Ackerman film “Allmayer’s Folly “, adapted from the novel by Joseph Conrad. Somewhere in South-East Asia, in a little lost village on a wide and turbulent river, a European man clings to his pipe dreams out of love for his daughter.
